Repeat Prescriptions
You may be able to request a repeat prescription without attending the doctor. However if the Doctor needs to see you we will contact you in due course.
There is an administration charge of €20 to issue a prescription unless you are a Medical Card holder.
If you do not have a medical card we will contact you to arrange payment of this charge over the phone.
To avoid errors we regret that prescriptions cannot be ordered over the telephone. Please complete the form below at least 48 hours before your prescription is due for renewal.
The prescription will be available for collection from your DESIGNATED PHARMACY within 48 hours. Please make allowances for weekends and public holidays.
PRACTICE PRESCRIBING POLICY
In The Meridian Clinic we want to provide you with the best quality medical care. This includes the way medicines are prescribed. For example you might notice how we try to avoid unnecessary antibiotics, for example in treating the 'common cold' (see HSE "common cold info" for further information).
